The Trinity revealed in a Candle Flame
I was once told that you cannot explain the Trinity to a child.
I looked around searching for an answer from God and I saw a candle flame.
As I looked into the flame, God revealed a representation of His Trinity to me.
When you look at a flame, the very center of the flame is pure, clear. You see the clear space around the wick of candle and this is like God the Father, the source that we cannot physically see.
Then we see the flame, the physical representation of the light. This is Jesus Christ, the Son, the Light of the World that showed us a physical representation of God Himself. We can see the flame and know something about the source of the flame.
Then there is the light! We cannot actually see the light, what we see is what the light touches, what it reflects off of. We can feel the warmth of the light and we can see our way in the darkness because of the light.
This is the Holy Spirit. Though we cannot physically see the Spirit, we can see its reflection from others’ lives, we can feel the warm comfort of the Peace of the Spirit and we can see our way through dark times by the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
One flame, three parts that perfectly represent the Trinity - God the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.
God is revealed all thru out HIS creation, if we will just open our eyes and see.
BJ Thomas Hebrews 1:3
